Enthusiasts Thrilled as Classic Rides Resurface
In a move that's sure to thrill theme park enthusiasts, Universal Orlando Resort has announced plans to resurrect two beloved coasters from the late 1990s.
According to sources close to the project, the long-dormant coasters will be reborn in Universal's Islands of Adventure, where they originally debuted nearly a quarter-century ago.
The first coaster, known as VelociCoaster, will be a high-speed launch coaster that transports riders through a dense rainforest teeming with dinosaurs. The second coaster, as of yet unnamed, is said to be a unique and innovative experience that has never been seen before in the theme park industry.
